Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing – Stepping into the Heart of the Ancient Capital

Welcome to Beijing, the spiritual heart of China! As you step out of the airport or train station, your professional driver will be waiting at the exit to escort you to your carefully selected downtown hotel via private vehicle. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You may choose to unwind in your comfortable room to elegantly recover from jet lag, or take a leisurely stroll through the nearby streets to catch your first glimpse of this fascinating city where ancient traditions meet modern prosperity.
✈️ Arrival Travel Tips:
  • By Air: Beijing is served by two major international hubs—Daxing (PKX) and Capital (PEK). With a global flight network, it is easily accessible from Malaysia, Singapore, USA, Australia, and major Chinese cities like Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Xi’an.
  • By Train: Beijing stands as a premier high-speed rail hub. Traveling on the “Fuxing” bullet trains at 350 km/h, you can reach the capital swiftly from cities like Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Xi’an.

Day 2: Imperial Splendor – Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Panorama & Summer Palace Aesthetics

After breakfast, we will head to Tiananmen Square to witness the grandeur of the world’s largest city center square. Next, your guide will lead you through time as you enter the Forbidden City (The Imperial Palace), the world’s largest and best-preserved royal palace complex. Walking along the magnificent central axis, we will decode the imperial history and architectural aesthetics embedded within the red walls and golden tiles, listening to the hidden epics of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

Following the palace tour, a 15-minute walk will take us to the summit of Jingshan Park. Here, you will be rewarded with a “God’s-eye view” of the entire Forbidden City, admiring the breathtaking symmetry of Beijing’s central axis. In the afternoon, we transition to the renowned Summer Palace. Known as the “Royal Garden Museum,” this picturesque landscape offers a serene walk along Kunming Lake, where you can admire exquisite pavilions and bridges while experiencing the elegant summer retreat of the former imperial family.

📝 Pro Tip: The Forbidden City is closed every Monday. We will flexibly adjust the sightseeing sequence based on your specific dates to ensure your experience remains flawless.

Day 3: Great Wall Summit – Scaling the Mutianyu Wonder & Olympic Landmarks

After breakfast, we will drive approximately 73 km (about 1.5-2 hours) to the 【Mutianyu Great Wall】, widely acclaimed as the most magnificent section of the Great Wall of China. As one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Mutianyu offers lush vegetation and expertly restored fortifications. You will enjoy a scenic cable car ride directly to the 14th watchtower, followed by a breathtaking hike along the winding ramparts. Watch as the dragon-like wall snakes across the mountain peaks before reaching the 20th watchtower—the highest point—to complete this daunting yet deeply rewarding Great Wall challenge.

In the afternoon, we return to the city to visit the legendary landmarks of the 2008 Beijing Olympics: the 【Bird’s Nest】 (National Stadium) and the 【Water Cube】 (National Aquatics Center). These structures seamlessly blend traditional Chinese aesthetics with cutting-edge modern technology. You can capture photos against the backdrop of this “Dual Olympic City,” documenting a high-light moment of Beijing’s modernization before returning to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Sacred Altars – Temple of Heaven Exploration & Local Hutong Rickshaw Experience

On the final day of your journey, we visit the 【Temple of Heaven】, the sacred site where Ming and Qing emperors performed solemn rituals to pray for good harvests. This complex, the largest ancient sacrificial site in China, interprets the philosophical essence of “Heaven is Round, Earth is Square.” You can stroll through the lush ancient cypress groves, explore the magnificent Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, and experience the mysteries of ancient acoustics at the Echo Wall and Triple-Sound Stones.

Afterward, time permitting, we will dive into the deep alleys of the 【Beijing Hutongs】. Here, you will board a nostalgic rickshaw to weave through the crisscrossing lanes. Witness the morning hustle and bustle alongside century-old courtyards, experiencing the most authentic “Slow Life” of old Beijing.

As your 4-day Beijing classic tour draws to a close, your guide will provide a private transfer to the airport or train station based on your schedule.
