Upon receiving your travel inquiry, our professional travel consultants will process it efficiently and provide you with one-on-one exclusive service. The consultant will address all your questions and provide professional advice and travel plans until you are fully satisfied. Once we receive your confirmation and deposit, we will proceed with your booking.
- 1. Booking Activation Deposit (10%): The deposit is 10% of the total tour price. Your booking officially takes effect only after this deposit is received. Paying the deposit signifies your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
(Note: The total price is locked upon receipt of the deposit. Prior to receiving the deposit, we reserve the right to adjust the tour price in case of fluctuations in hotel, airfare, or other costs.) - 2. Resource Guarantee Deposit (20%): Please pay an additional 20% of the total price (bringing the total deposit to 30%) no later than 30 days before departure to secure and guarantee confirmed hotels, flights, and train tickets.
*Urgent Bookings: For bookings made less than 30 days before the tour starts, a one-time payment of 30% of the total price is required at the time of booking. - 3. Final Balance (70%): The remaining 70% balance can be paid in advance before departure, or at the latest on the day of your arrival in China, after your guide has assisted you with hotel check-in.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Wire Transfer, Credit Card, Alipay, WeChat Pay, PayPal.
(Regarding PayPal: To ensure the security of your funds and provide convenience, we support PayPal payments. Since PayPal charges high international transaction fees, choosing this method will incur a transfer fee charged by PayPal. Please understand that this fee is a cross-border transaction cost charged by the payment platform and is not an additional service charge from our company.)
2. Cancellation and Refunds
We understand that you may need to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, SuperChinaTour offers a favorable refund policy to minimize your losses. Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total tour price:
| Cancellation Time (Prior to Tour Start) | Cancellation Fee |
|---|---|
| 30 days or more | No cancellation fee (Except for actual losses incurred from canceling pre-booked hotels, flights, or cruises) |
| 15 – 30 days prior | 15% of the total price |
| 3 – 14 days prior | 30% of the total price |
| Within 2 days or after tour start | 100% of the total price |
Special Policy for Yangtze River Cruises: If the itinerary includes a Yangtze cruise, the cancellation fee follows the cruise company’s policy: 50% of the cruise fee for cancellations 16–30 days prior; 100% of the cruise fee for cancellations within 15 days.
If you need to cancel, please notify us via email. The refund amount will be based on the date (Beijing Time) we receive the written cancellation notice. All refunds will be processed within 20 days of receiving the notice.
3. Itinerary Changes
For any changes made before the tour begins, we do not charge a service fee, but you must bear the actual costs incurred by the booking changes. After the tour has started, additional costs resulting from requested changes will be added to the total price; unused portions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
4. Minimum Group Size
Private tours are independently customized for you, your family, or your friends and are not joined with other travelers (except for public activities like the Yangtze River cruise). A private guide and driver are provided throughout the trip. You can coordinate daily departure times, sightseeing durations, and meal times with your guide within reasonable limits.
5. Passports and Visas
Please ensure you have a valid passport and visa before traveling to China. If you are eligible for visa-free entry, please confirm with your local embassy or consulate. If the itinerary includes other countries, please comply with the visa policies of those respective countries.
6. Dietary Requirements
Please inform us in advance of any food allergies. We can arrange vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free meals, etc. If you are vegetarian, please specify if you eat eggs, dairy, yogurt, or fish. Please list your dietary restrictions, e.g., no chili/onions/mushrooms/cilantro, or no pork/chicken/fish/lamb/beef.
7. Other Information
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers luggage damage, flight delays, cancellations, etc.
- Please carefully check the international and domestic flight tickets you purchased to understand the airline’s policies.
- Upon hotel check-in, a credit card pre-authorization is usually required for personal expenses (such as laundry).
- Most 4- to 5-star hotels in China use central air conditioning, which is available in winter and summer. During transitional seasons (spring/autumn), operation depends on the weather and the hotel’s decision, which is beyond our control. Some hotels may provide fans.
- Non-shopping tours do not include commission-based shopping stops, but some attraction entrances or exits may pass through shops, which is unavoidable.
- Elevations in Tibet generally exceed 3,000 meters, and altitude sickness may occur. Patients with heart or lung diseases or anemia should consult a doctor before deciding.
8. Liability Clause
The liability of our company and its affiliates is strictly limited. We organize and sell services provided by suppliers (guides, transport, hotels, etc.), who are independent contractors and not our employees or agents.
When booking flights or cruises, we act as your agent, not as the agent of the operating company. However, we commit to being responsible for the intentional or negligent acts of our local partner agencies during land services. We reserve the right to select the trains and flights within the itinerary.
After receiving full payment, we will bear the profit or loss resulting from changes in fares, exchange rates, or taxes. However, before receiving the deposit, we reserve the right to adjust prices based on cost changes. Hotel star ratings are based on facilities and reviews and may differ from official ratings. We are not responsible for force majeure or flight delays but will do our best to assist.
9. Complaints and Claims
If you are dissatisfied with any service during your trip, please immediately notify your travel consultant via email, phone, or through the local guide so we can resolve the issue promptly and prevent it from recurring. Our support team will ensure you have a pleasant and valuable travel experience.
