Tibet, the Roof of the World, is always a holy place full of mysteries. Take this adventurous trip to see unique highland landscapes, traditional customs and religious culture. As many travelers’ feedbacks, the tour to Tibet will create memories of lifetime.

  • Upon your arrival, you will find our English-speaking guide is waiting for you outside the customs of the Capital Airport. Then a comfortable private transfer will take you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

  • In the morning, you will be picked up at the hotel and transferred to visit the Tiananmen Square, which is located in the heart of the city and is famed as the largest city square around the world. After that, walk northward to the Forbidden City. With a long history of 590 years, the Forbidden City is the existing largest and best-preserved cluster of imperial palace in the world. To avoid the poor food at the cheap tourist eateries, we will serve you an a la carte lunch at a nice local restaurant, where you can taste the authentic Chinese food. After lunch, proceed to take a Hutong tour. The rickshaw riding through the zigzag old alleys will give you a chance to see the most local life and experience the original Beijing culture. Tonight, an exciting Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre will be waiting for you, which combines the traditional Chinese martial art and the modern drama perfectly.

  • Today’ excursion will start with the Badaling Great Wall, which is the best-preserved and most famous section among all the existing Great Wall of China. When walking on this world largest man-made project, you will be impressed by the winding but majestic walls. Then a Jade Factory follows. To avoid the shopping site restaurants near the wall, we will drive you to enjoy the famous Sichuan food at the best local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to visit the largest royal graveyard in our country, the Ming Tomb, where 13 Ming-dynasty emperors and their wives and sons were buried. These thirteen individual emperors' tombs are connected by a long Sacred Way, which will lead you to the tombs. On the way back to the downtown area, we will have a stop at the Bird's Nest. You can take some pictures with the permanent site of 2008 Olympics.

  • In the morning, you will pay a visit to the Summer Palace. This 800-year-old palace functioned as a luxury resort of the royal family for over one century. In this largest imperial garden, you will see classical buildings, large manmade Kunming Lake and hills as well as delicate natural scenery. Then visit a nearby Pearl Factory. The next stop will be Temple of Heaven, which is a holy altar where the emperors used to hold ceremonies to sacrifice the God and bless abundant harvest. After that, we will serve you an a la carte lunch at a nice local restaurant with delicate cuisine and great atmosphere. Later, a comfortable private transfer will take you to the airport. You will board a flight to Xian. Our local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area of the airport and escort you to check in the hotel.

  • The first stop of your ancient Xian tour will be the Eighth World Wonder, Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Standing in front of thousands of life-like terracotta figures of warriors and horses with distinct facial expressions, you will be taken back to the Qin Dynasty of over 2,200 years ago to experience the powerfulness of the country at that time. You will drop by a Pottery-making Workshop. To avoid the mass-produced food at the tourist eateries near the site, we will serve you an a la carte lunch at the well-known best local restaurant. After lunch, the tour will be extended to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, another landmark of the ancient capital. It was constructed 1,300 years ago to store rare Buddhist sutras from Indian. Later, go to visit Shaanxi History Museum, which exhibits over 370,000 historical relics and is regarded as 'the best museum in the country'. In the evening, you will enjoy a marvelous Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show and the Dumpling Dinner at Shaanxi Opera Theatre.

  • After breakfast, you will be scheduled to visit the ancient City Wall. The 13.7-kilometer's long city wall was reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty of 600 years ago on the base of the capital's defensive wall of the Tang Dynasty. Standing on the top of the wall, you will have a bird’s eye of the city. If time permits, you can rent a bicycle to ride around the wall. After that, our guide will escort you to visit a local family. You will not only taste the true home cooked food, but also learn to cook Chinese dishes if you are interested. This special experience will give you a chance to get a close touch of the local people's life. In the afternoon, proceed to the Great Mosque which is one of the four most famous Islamic mosques in our country. Walking out of the mosque, you can explore the nearby bazaar where the popular local dim sum, souvenirs and gadgets are sold.

  • Today you will take a flight to Lhasa, which is located 3,650 meters above sea level. Our guide will expect you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in downtown district. During the remainder of the day, it is suggested that you have a good rest at the hotel to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude of the city.

  • In the morning, pay a visit to Tibet Museum. You will know much about this region's long history, brilliant culture and Tibetan Buddhism from the large collection. In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Sera Monastery, one of the three greatest monasteries in Tibet. Every day, the lamas and the annual Buddha-unfolding in Shoton Festival have a debate on Buddhist doctrines. The next stop will be the Norbulingka Park, which once was the summer palace of Dalai Lama and now a beautiful big garden.

  • Today you will head to Chongqing by air. Upon arrival, you will find our guide is waiting for you at Chongqing Airport.   • After breakfast, the guide will introduce the cruise and the schedule to you. Then you will disembark and visit Shibaozhai (Precious Stone Fortress), which is a vermilion 12-storey pavilion built against a huge rock. With its exquisite architecture and interesting legends, Shibaozhai becomes a must-see when cruising along the Yangtze River. Standing on it, you could overlook the stunning river views. While returning to the ship, you may have some leisure time strolling on the deck to enjoy the scenery along the river. In the evening, the Captain's Welcome Party will be ready for you.

  • Today, the ship will sail through the noted Three Gorges, where you will appreciate the most stunning cliffs and sceneries along the Yangtze River. The Qutang Gorge, the shortest and the grandest of the Three Gorges, will impress you with the exquisite peaks and grotesquely shaped rocks. Among the Three Gorges, Wu Gorge in the middle is reputed as the most beautiful one because of its elegant and graceful views. This gorge is lined with lofty peaks and mountains on both sides, just like a gallery. Before entering into the final Xiling Gorge, you will experience an interesting junk adventure along the Shennong Stream. Sitting on the special local wooden boat, you will indulge yourself in the wonders of zigzagging watercourses and the primitive environment. The nice folk song from the trackers will enrich your journey. After the excursion, the ship will set out to the longest Xiling Gorge. In the evening, it will pass through the Five Level Ship Lock of China Dam which is the largest one in the world.

  • You will take a bus up to the peak of Tanziling and get a bird's eye view of the grand Three Gorges Dam Project. When getting back to the ship, please pack your luggage and follow the check-out procedure. As the ship arrives at the port of Yichang City, your amazing Yangtze cruise journey will come to the end. Our local guide will lead you to visit the Yichang Museum if time permits. Afterwards, you will get to Shanghai by air. Our local guide will be waiting for you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

  • The first stop of Shanghai sightseeing will be the Shanghai Museum. In the comprehensive ancient museum, you will get to know about the splendid history of our country from the extensive historical collections. Later, continue to visit Yuyuan Garden. As one of the masterpieces of the classical gardens in southern region of China, Yuyuan Garden is noted for its delicate buildings, exquisite layout and beautiful landscapes. Then visit the Silk Museum. An a la carte farewell lunch will be served for you at a fancy and famous local restaurant, where you will taste veritable local dishes. After lunch, a Huangpu River Cruise will be arranged for you. Standing on the ship, you will immerse yourself in the different scenes along the both banks of the river. After disembarking, explore the Bund Area and then visit an old street of the city.
