12 Days China memorable tour of Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Guilin, Yangshuo, Guilin, Hong Kong with a la cart meals and spectacular sceneries. The itinerary can be tailor-made based on your taste and budget.

  • Upon your arrival at Beijing Capital Airport, you will find that our English-speaking guide is waiting for you outside the customs, holding a sign on which your name is written. Then you will be transferred to the selected hotel by a comfortable private car. The remaining of the day is free for your individual activity.

  • In the morning, our guide and driver will come to the hotel to pick you up. The first stop of Beijing tour will be Tiananmen Square. The square, reputed as the largest city square in the world, witnessed most of the national ceremonies. To the north of Tiananmen Square is the Forbidden City. Now known as the Palace Museum, the Forbidden City is the largest as well as best-preserved imperial palace with a history of 590 years. The numerous imperial architectures with red walls and golden roofs and cultural relics of more than 600 years ago will reflect the royal life of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Around noon, in order to avoid have lunch at the cheap tourist eateries as the most agencies are doing now, we will drive you to a noted local restaurant. You will enjoy an a la carte lunch with quality food and great service. Usually our a la carte meal price for each client is three to four times higher than that of the tourist restaurants. In the afternoon, we will head for the Temple of Heaven, which is the imperial altar of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to communicate with the God of Heaven. In the evening, a lively Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre will wait for you. The Kung Fu Show will impress you with the acrobatics and dancing. It is the show that will feast your eyes and give you a chance to learn more about Chinese Kung Fu.

  • After breakfast in the hotel, we will pay a visit to Badaling Great Wall. Chairman Mao had a saying that “'He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man” which inspires large number of tourists around world to visit the Great Wall. Even though you may feel a little tired to climb the steps, you will find it worthy when the beautiful scenery is in front of you. To ensure that you can taste the authentic Chinese food, we will transfer you to have an a la carte lunch at a delicate local restaurant to enjoy the famous Sichuan food. In term of food quality and service level, the local restaurant differs greatly from shopping site restaurants which are always used by many agencies who want to reduce the cost and get some commissions. After lunch, we will depart for the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. There are 13 emperors and their wives and sons buried in the group of tombs. The Ming Tomb is known as the largest royal graveyard complex in China. On the way back to downtown, we will drive you by the Bird's Nest, where you will have a short stay to take some photos with the huge nest.

  • Today's first stop will be the Summer Palace. Known as the best-preserved imperial garden around China, the Summer Palace is a perfect combination of natural beauty and garden design. After that, take a rickshaw riding through Hutongs, which is the best way to experience the original culture of Beijing. The Hutong tour will lead you to visit Yinding Bridge, Drum tower or Bell tower and so on. Then we will drive you to a well-decorated restaurant to enjoy an a la carte lunch. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport to take a flight to Xian. Upon your arrival, our local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area of the airport and then a comfortable private transfer will take you to check in the hotel.

  • After breakfast at hotel, our guide will pick you up and drive you to visit the most notable landmark of Xian City, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Walking into the underground museum, a large number of warriors and horses standing in the battle array as well as the exquisite Bronze Chariots and Horses and weapons will be in front of you, taking you back to the Qin Dynasty. Around noon, as is our practice to avoid the mass-produced food at the cheap tourist restaurants near the warrior site, you will enjoy an a la carte lunch at an elegant local restaurant. For our a la carte meals, we will pay at least 3 to 4 times' price higher than that of the tourist food. After lunch, head to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The seven-story square cone-shaped tower, built in the Tang Dynasty (over 1,300 years ago), was used to keep the Buddhism scripture, relics and statues taken back from India. The next stop will be the Provincial History Museum, reputed as 'the best museum in the country'. You will have a miniature overview of Chinese history and cultures. In the evening, a typical Dumpling Dinner and a colorful Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Performance at Shaanxi Opera Theater will enrich this day’s tour. You will immerse in the royal music and dance to see the prosperous Tang Dynasty in the 7th to 10th century.

  • The morning will be devoted to another symbol of the ancient city, the City Wall. Originally constructed in the Ming Dynasty, it is one of the best-preserved existing city walls. Standing on the wall, you will be fascinated by the fantastic panoramic view of the city. If time permits, you can also stroll or take a cycling around the wall. After that, we will drive to a local family’s home. This family visit will not only give you a chance to taste the true home cooked food, but also to get a close touch to the local people's life. If you are interested, you can learn to cool your favorite Chinese dishes. In the afternoon, our tour will be extended to the Great Mosque, which features the Chinese-style Islamic Mosque - the dominated architecture are flying roofs and painted beams rather than domes and minarets.

  • In the morning, we will head to Xian Museum, which is the last attraction of Xian tour. The guide will take you to explore the three parts of the museum, including the exhibition hall where there are over 130,000 valuable historical and cultural relics, the ancient Jianfu Temple built in the Tang Dynsaty and exquisite Small Wild Goose Pagoda. In the historic park, you will learn about the history and culture of ancient China, but also admire the magnificent architectures. To conclude, we will transfer you to the airport to take a flight to Shanghai. Our local guide will greet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel by a comfortable private car.

  • Our Shanghai tour will begin with Shanghai Museum, where exhibits a large scale of collections covering bronze wares, chinaware and Chinese paintings, reflecting the splendid history and glorious culture of China. Afterwards, we will continue to visit the Yuyuan Garden. Built 400 years ago, the elegant garden will feast your eyes with delicate buildings, exquisite layout and beautiful landscapes. At noon, an a la carte lunch will be served at a delicate and famous local restaurant. You will taste the authentic Shanghai and Cantonese cuisines. In the afternoon, go to take a cruise on the Huangpu River. This cruise will lead you to explore a much comprehensive Shanghai. The west bank of the river features old western buildings, illustrating the history of the city. While, the east bank shows you the modernization of Shanghai with rows of skyscrapers. After that, you will be free to visit the Bund area and an old street.

  • This morning is free for your individual activity. In the afternoon, we will pick you up at the hotel and drive you to take a fight to Guilin. Upon your arrival in Guilin, our local guide will wait for you at the airport and transfer you to the appointed hotel.

  • Today will come to the highlight of the Guilin tour as we take you to enjoy the Li River Cruise. The section from Guilin to Yangshuo is the essence of Li River, providing the best scenery. The four to five hours’ cruise will lead you to the dreamy rural scenery where you can indulge yourself in the verdant hills and crystal water. Moreover, a picture of rural people’s life will present to you, peasants reaping rice paddies, women washing clothes by the rivers and fisherman floating by on bamboo rafts. The pristine nature will let you escape from the bustling cities. Lunch will be provided on the cruise today and since it may not meet your expectations, we suggest you have a larger breakfast at the hotel. After disembarking, our guide will take you to visit the exotic West Street (Xi Jie), known as the biggest 'foreign language center' all over China. After that, you will enjoy a cycling to the countryside of Yangshuo. If you prefer, we can transfer you there. On the way, we specially arrange a local family visit for you. You will have a close touch to the local farmer’s life. After finishing the Yangshuo excursion, we will transfer you back to Guilin.

  • In the morning, we will pay a visit to one of the most popular destination of Guilin City, the Reed Flute Cave, where you will see various exquisite stalagmites and stalactites. Afterwards, we will depart for the Seven Star Park. The largest comprehensive park will fascinate you with historical sites of temple and stone tablets, and beautiful landscape of hills and rivers. The Guilin tour will end with the Elephant Trunk Hill, which is the most notable symbol of Guilin. The hill is named so because it resembles an elephant standing by the Li River to drink water with its long trunk. Late in the afternoon, our guide will transfer you to the airport to get the flight to Hong Kong.

    As Hong Kong is an international metropolis with easy transportation system, it is quite convenient for you to explore the city by yourself. In this case, we only reserve the hotel accommodation with breakfast for you there. Upon your arrival at Hong Kong airport, please follow the signs to take the Airport Express and get off at Kowloon station by yourself.

  • A full day is free for you to visit Hong Kong on your own. The hotels we reserve for our clients are usually located around the center of Hong Kong, which will be convenient to explore the highlights of Hong Kong. We recommend you to pay a visit to the waterfront of the Victoria Harbor. Walking along the Harbor, you will see the Avenue of Star, Space Museum, Museum of Art, Cultural Centre and finally the westmost Star Ferry Terminal. We highly recommend you to take the time-honored Star Ferry to Central on Hong Kong Island. It is suggested that you walk to the nearby bus station at Exchange Square and take bus 6, 6A, 6X, 60, and 260 to Stanley on the south of the island. You can shop in the bustling Stanley Market and having lunch at a delicate restaurant.

  • Today you will go to the airport for your homeward flight on your own. You can take free bus K3 to Kowloon station, and then transfer to the Airport Express. Also, you can take a taxi to the airport. It is suggested that you arrive at the airport at least three hours before your flight departure. It is the end of your China tour. Wish you a nice journey back home.
