The Yangtze Cruise will create a lifetime memory for you with the natural beauty of the Three Gorges and the interesting shore excursions. The visit to the most popular tourism cities like Shanghai, Xian and Beijing, will let you know much about the splendid history and culture of China.

  • Upon arrival at Shanghai airport, you will reclaim your luggage and clear the customs first. Our local guide will meet you outside the customs, holding a sign on which your name is written. A comfortable private transfer will take you to check in the hotel. The remaining time of the day is free for your individual activities.

  • Your wonderful Shanghai tour will start from Shanghai Museum, which collects a large number of historical items like bronze, ceramics, paintings, jade and furniture of ancient times. Later, pay a visit to the delicate Yuyuan Garden. This garden, one of the most famous gardens in the Southern part of our country, is designed in Chinese style with the pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and cloisters. After that you will visit a Silk Factory. Around noon, we will invite you to an a la carte welcome lunch at a nice and famous local restaurant, which boasts real Shanghai and Cantonese cuisines. In the afternoon, an exciting Huangpu River cruise will be arranged for you. You will be impressed by the distinctive landscapes on both sides of the river: western-style buildings on the west bank and modern skyscrapers on the east bank. Then you will have some free time to stroll on the Bund, where features many buildings in Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance style. After that visit an old street.

  • In the morning, you will be transferred to visit the Jade Buddha Temple, which features a Sitting Buddha and a Recumbent Buddha both carved with whole white jade. Then you will head to Yichang by air and our local guide will be waiting for you outside the baggage claim area of the airport. A comfortable private transfer will take you to downtown Yichang. If time permits, the guide will escort you to visit Yichang Museum, where you will see the local cultural relics with the earliest exhibitions dating back to 400,000 years ago. Later, we will drive you to the pier to board the reserved cruise ship. As the ship sails, your excellent Yangtze tour begins.

  • Your cruise journey begins at 07:00 this morning. Sailing along the eastern Xiling Gorge, you will first disembark to have an excursion to Three Gorges Dam. You may climb up to Tianzi Mountain to enjoy a bird’s eye view of the magnificent dam. Then you will be back to the ship and the cruise continues sailing into the western Xiling Gorge. On both sides of the gorge, you may see many cultural relics, such as hanging coffins. Afterwards, the cruise will pass through the Five Level Ship Lock, which takes at least two to three hours. In the evening, you will be invited to participate into the Captain's Welcome Party.

  • In the morning, the ship will sail through the Wu Gorge, which is well-known for its elegant and graceful views. In this gorge, the highlight will be twelve peaks standing in different postures and manners. According to the itinerary, you will experience an interesting junk adventure along the Shennong Stream or the Three Little Gorges, both of which are tributaries of the River. Sitting on the special local pea boat, you will indulge yourself in the wonders of zigzagging watercourses and the primitive environment. The nice folk song from the guide and boat trackers, who are all local Tujia minority people, will enrich your journey. After the excursion, the ship will set out to the Qutang Gorge. It is the shortest and the grandest gorge of the Three Gorges. Standing on the deck of the cruise ship, you will be fascinated by the view of the exquisite peaks and grotesquely shaped rocks.

  • Today, the ship will stopover at Fengdu where you will disembark to take an interesting excursion. According to the schedule of your cruise company, you will go to visit the Fengdu County. It is known to most Chinese as the 'Ghost City' because of its rich ghost culture. After that, you will be back to the ship and the cruise continues sailing to the destination Chongqing. Tonight, a farewell party on the cruise will be ready for you. Please enjoy yourself thoroughly

  • Your memorable Yangtze Cruise will come to the end as the ship arrives in Chongqing at around 08:30 to 09:00. Our guide will meet you on board and transfer you to downtown Chongqing. You will visit the panda house in Chongqing Zoo to have a close contact with the cute pandas, and then visit the Residence of General Joseph W. Stilwell, which was founded in memory of an American general Joseph W. Stilwell who contributed a great deal to the Chinese people during the World War Two. Afterwards, your lunch with a la carte menu will be served at a nice local restaurant. Then you will be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Xian. Our local guide will be waiting for you at the airport. A comfortable private transfer will take you the appointed hotel in downtown area.

  • The first stop will be the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is reputed as the Eighth Wonder of the world. It is a huge underground military museum full of life-sized terracotta figures of warriors and horses. They were arranged orderly in battle formations to guard the mausoleum of the first emperor Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of 2,200 years ago. Later you will see how to make the terracotta soldiers at the Pottery-making Factory. To avoid the mass-produced food at the tourist eateries near the warrior site, we will serve you an a la carte lunch at the well-known best local restaurant. This afternoon excursion will start from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The square pyramid pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty (over 1,300 years ago) to house the Buddhism scripture and statues taken back from India. Later, you are going to visit the ancient City Wall. Standing on it, you can not only learn about the history of ancient Xian, but also have a bird's eye view of the modern city. Tonight, you will be scheduled to Shaanxi Opera Theater to enjoy the local specialty Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Dance and Music Show.

  • After breakfast, you will pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum, which is one of the most famous museums and earns its fame for large-scale storage of historical relics. This visit will be helpful for you to learn more about the splendid history of China. Afterwards, we will take you to enjoy a family visit with home-cooked a la cart lunch. Not only will you taste the authentic home-made Chinese dishes, but also can learn to cook your favorite dishes with host. It is a chance to approach the local people, talk with them and know more about the local people's life style at home in China. In the afternoon, you will head to the airport and fly to Beijing. Our local guide will be waiting for you at the airport. A comfortable private transfer will take you to the appointed hotel in downtown area. The remainder of the day is free for you to have a rest at hotel or explore the city on your own.

  • After breakfast, you will be driven to visit one of the greatest world heritage sites - the Badaling Great Wall. Badaling is the elite section of China Great Wall, where the splendid defense project is well preserved. When walking on it, you will be impressed by the winding but majestic walls, snaking along the mountain ranges, just like a huge dragon. Later you will visit a Jade Store. To avoid the shopping site restaurants near the Great Wall, we will drive you to enjoy the famous Sichuan food at the best local restaurant. On the way back to the downtown, we will drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium). You can see the full view of the nest and take some pictures. The last stop today is the Temple of Heaven, a complex of Taoist buildings, featuring in red and blue. In the ancient time, it served as an inviolable altar where the Emperors did sacrificial practices to pray for good harvests.

  • In the morning, pay a visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest urban square in the world, which is an iconic Beijing tourist attraction. After strolling around the square, you will pass the Meridian Gate and enter the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex. Now it becomes a museum, namely the Palace Museum, where you will be fascinated by the gorgeous imperial architecture and cultural relics of more than 600 years ago. As is our practice to avoid the poor food at the cheap tourist eateries, we will serve you an a la carte lunch at a nice local restaurant, where you can taste the authentic Chinese food. In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Summer Palace. As the largest and best-preserved imperial garden of China, the Summer Palace will impress you with the stunning natural landscape and delicate gardening design. Then visit a nearby Pearl Store. Tonight, our guide will take you to Red Theatre to watch a lively Chinese Kung Fu Show presented in the form of skillful Chinese Kung Fu. From the show, you will have a better understanding of Chinese Kung Fu.
