In the morning, your driver will meet you at the hotel in Shanghai, then transfer you to Zhujiajian Pier where your English-speaking guide will meet you and accompany you to take a ferry bound for Putuoshan Island.
Your Mount Putuo tour starts with the giant Guanyin Statue (Nanhai Guanyin Statue). This 33-meter-high (108 feet) tall statue of the Guanyin is the most iconic spot in Putuo Mountain.
Then walk into a bamboo forest to visit an ancient temple, the Unwilling-to-go (Bukenqu) Guanyin Monastery.
Board a shuttle bus to Puji Temple, which is the largest and oldest temple in Mount Putuo.If you are interested, you can take a stroll along the Baibusha beach in the evening.

Fayu Temple is the second largest temple in Mount Putuo. You can see a lot of people come to this temple to pray and witness monks practicing the prayer.
Huiji Temple is located at the top of Putuo Mountain, and it allows you to enjoy a nice view of the whole area. You will take a cable car up to the temple or take a 1.5-hour trekking trip if you prefer. The view at the top is nice and stunning.
After the visit, you will take the short ferry ride back to the ferry terminal where your driver will wait for you and transfer you back to Shanghai.
