Having served as China’s capital for more than 800 years, Beijing is rich in cultural heritage sites. This tour not only takes you to visit the must-see attractions in Beijing, but also lead you to experience the common Beijing people’s lives by taking a special rickshaw, as well as to visit the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Beijing.

  • After arrival at Beijing, you will be met outside the customs at Beijing Capital Airport and transferred to the selected hotel. Our professional guide will assist you to check in at hotel.

  • To begin your travel, we will come to visit Tiananmen Square, where stand many historical constructions including the National Museum of China, the Monument of the National Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, and the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong. We continue to walk northward from the square to reach the Forbidden City, the home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and known as the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. After that, you will be transferred to a local restaurant and served with an a la carte lunch to taste the authentic Chinese food. After lunch, we depart for the Temple of Heaven, a sacred place for the emperors to worship Heaven and solemnly pray for a good harvest. It is noted for the most holy of Beijing's imperial temples.

  • After breakfast, we will set off to Badaling Great Wall, one of the seven wonders in the world. Like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across mountains, making one of the greatest man-made projects in the world. You could stand on the beacon towers to feel the power of people. Then we will drive to the selected restaurant for lunch. After that, we will proceed to visit Ming Tomb along the Sacred Way, a long road featuring stone memorial archway, the stele pavilion, the stone statues and the Dragon and Phoenix Gate. The Ming Tomb, according to Chinese traditional Feng-shui theory, combines the mausoleum constructions, mountains and rivers in great harmony. Afterwards, we will go to the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) on the way back to downtown area, admiring the inspiring building and taking pictures outside.

  • In the morning, we will pay a visit to the Summer Palace, which is said to be the best preserved imperial garden in the world. The palace, with splendid architecture and elegant landscape, is regarded as one of the most classical gardens of the world and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. At noon, you will enjoy a la carte lunch at a delicate local restaurant. Then we will continue our trip to visit the Lama Temple, also called the Yonghe Lamasery, which is the largest and most perfectly preserved lamasery in China. We will end today with a Hutong Tour. Initially built during the Yuan Dynasty, Hutong is a typical lane or small street in Beijing. Strolling along the Hutong, you will have a chance to close to the common Beijingners and experience the local lives.
